Restauranteurs: How are you cutting back in the UK with Cost increases?

The new(ish) UK government is focused on resolving long term issues including long term unemployed, under resourced prison system, under funded police and a national health system “on its knees”.

While their approach has not been universally welcomed they have chosen not to put extra pressure on employed people who are struggling with a wave of increased energy costs and general inflation. The pressure is on employers to pay more national insurance.

So businesses are taking the hit and those on tight margins are struggling to work out what has to change for them to cope. For many the almost universal choice is to up prices, thus contributing to inflation.

But is anyone else trying to help businesses?

Technology can provide newer and better ways to deliver same or better solutions and where systems have never changed in decades they are vulnerable to new ideas that do better for less.

We at Melody Pods don’t need the fat that MCPS add to the cost of licensing music in restaurants, cafes and retail around the UK.

We don’t need massive execute boards earning 7 figure salaries and bonuses with a monopoly culture.

Melody Pods gives you a extra option:

  • No music if the ambience doesn’t get affected
  • MCPRS Well known pop music, variable pricing based on your type of business and size, high licence cost.
  • MelodyPods: Mood style music that isn’t known but is of popular genres under a simple flat fee, low licence cost.

One way or the other the costs are hitting UK businesses and citizens hard and businesses are struggling to find a way through to survive. I like to think Melody Pods can help in our own way.
